Sarah has been involved in healing modalities for the past 12 years. She began her offerings as a massage therapist, yoga instructor, and Natural Health Practitioner. In 2005, after a severe car accident, her work shifted tremendously from healing from an ‘outside in’ perspective to healing from the ‘inside out.’
Sarah began her studies of Pre & -Peri-natal Somatic and Attachment Therapy in 2005. Since then, she has whole-heartedly committed her time and energy to her own healing of early imprints from pre-conception, conception, implantation, gestation, birth, bonding and her early attachment experiences. She has a passion for supporting individuals in accessing their own Health from these times while holding the intention throughout, of recovering the Health that innately lives from those beginning times and how they also link to present day intentions of arriving more deeply into ourselves and our purpose here on earth. From her lived experiences, she holds deep heart space while individuals tap into their own grounded embodiment.
Through the PPN model, Sarah has witnessed and supported many adults through the birth process and more recently was given the incredible gift of supporting new life into this world! In 2010, she became a birth doula and more recently, spent 6 months assisting a home birth mid-wife based in Los Angeles, CA where she was gifted with the opportunity to support both home births & hospital births while holding the role as doula. Welcoming these little ones into the world, she held a support space for their wisdom to express their birth stories while attaching to mom’s breast. (note: When a newborn has the quiet presence and heart space around those who love him/her, latching often happens with ease.) She has witnessed the wisdom of newborns time and time again. Little bodies indeed, and holding within, enormous wisdom!
Throughout her journeys within the Somatic Pre and Peri-natal field, she has held a deep love and passion for Continuum Movement. From the moment she saw its primordial movements, she lit up inside and traveled to meet the renowned founder, Emilie Conrad in 2006. She then spent 6 years in deep immersion in its fluid medicine becoming an Authorized teacher in 2011. Along her journey towards becoming an Authorized teacher, she was gifted with the opportunities to teach throughout her travels in South America and within the US. She has a deep calling to share its fluid message and to live in its inquiry of what it means to be human. She accumulated years of study with a number of Continuum teachers throughout North America, although primarily studied with founder Emilie Conrad and Susan Harper of Continuum Montage.
With her accumulated knowledge of Homeopathy, trauma resolution work, her love of somatic based practices such as dance and authentic movement, she has a wellspring of tools and grounds her work within the guiding forces of the body.
